Improved Image Quality
Olympus E5 combines the TruePic V+ image processing engine with a 12.3 megapixel High Speed Live MOS Sensor which allows the E5 to optimize the Zuiko Digital lenses. The “Fine Detail Processing” technology gives you life-like results from shadow to highlights. Another great feature is the in-body Image stabilizer that gives blur-free handheld shooting capability.
High Quality Audio Capability
The Olympus E5 offers 720p HD video, that records at 39fps with high quality audio. Simply plug in any microphone with a standard 3.5mm plug into the camera’s stereo microphone terminal.
More Special Features
Art Filters in the camera allow you to add special effects to both your still photos and HD video. The Art Filters can be used in Aperture priority, Shutter priority, and Program and Manual exposure modes. You can overlay up to 4 images in a single frame with the Multiple Exposure function.
Using the Zuiko Digital lenses, the Olympus E5 system is the most compact camera on the market. Whether taking still photos or videos, the cameras 3.0-inch 920,000 dot dual axis swivel LCD covers all angles with 100 percent accuracy.
